Town Lake, Killeshandra - 3 October 2010
Match report Another match moved due to rising water levels, saw the club switch to Town Lake in Killeshandra. Conditions were near perfect with just a light breeze, intermittent sunshine and temperatures in the mid-teens. With deep water close in on every peg, members fished a variety of methods to connect with the resident roach and perch. Eoin Schweppe set the early pace with 12 m pole to take 2/3oz stamp roach from a snaggy swim but it was feeder that would prove the winning tactic by the all-out. Dave 'End Peg' Hill recovered from his long walk to edge past Danny Campbell in the last hour, fishing a bunch of floating maggots on a 12 hook at 60 turns to weigh in 4.200kg of mostly roach.
