Town Lake, Killeshandra - 30 January 2011
Match report Town Lake proved popular with members in Autumn and it was to Town Lake that the club returned in the depths of winter for the last match of the Winter League - with an air temperature of 1C, a chill westerly breeze and light snow flurries. Most anglers fished feeder at 30-45 turns for roach and the occasional bonus skimmer bream or hybrid. Brendan Collins took advantage of deep water to take 3.020 kg and put pressure on Martin Kantor. Most anglers caught between 10 and 20 fish, a sound return on a cold day in one of the coldest winters.
