Corrstown Lake, Drumconrath - 29 March 2009
Match report After a very successful visit to Corrstown earlier in the month, the club returned at the end of March. Conditions were somewhat different, with overnight ground frost and a stiff westerly breeze, but the fish were still willing to feed. Most anglers used what they'd learned from the earlier match and adapted their tactics to target the better quality fish. Dave Hill fished 10 metres of pole with a rig set 6 inches over depth and chopped worm in his groundbait to bring a good few bonus fish to the net, including a chunky 12oz perch. Dave finished almost 1 kilo clear of Richie Keegan who was fishing the north bank where fewer bonus fish put in an appearance.
