Baird's Shore, Ballybay, Co Monaghan - 22 April 2012
Match report This was the club's first match at Baird's Shore in 9 years. While the bream failed to show up for Sean and Brendan in pegs 1 and 2, there were plenty of lightning fast bites to be had in every peg. Converting bites to fish was the name of the game and Trevor turned one of these bites into a 1.950 tench on the slider. This was enough to push him past Brendan's 40 or so smaller fish and into first place. All in all it was a welcome return to a consistent venue that allows members to fish every possible method - today's fish came to pole, waggler, slider, feeder and ledger tactics.
